Pillow
Miss
Micki got her start in dance at an early age.
From age five, she was practicing her plies and pirouettes and
continued to do so all the way through college.
At the University of North Texas, she was the first student to
graduate with a degree in dance.
Following college, Miss Micki returned home to Fort Worth and performed at
Casa Manana as a dance extra in various musicals for two seasons.
In
1974, Miss Micki moved to Tulsa. In
1977, she opened Miss Micki's School of Dance.
For thirty-one years Miss Micki has brought the joy of dance to
thousands of children and adults!

Shelia
Phillips
Shelia
Phillips began her dance journey at the age of 3.
She is trained in Ballet, Modern, Pointe, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz, Pom,
and Musical Theater. Miss Shelia
has coached, choreographed, or taught dance technique to many local dance
teams and studios. She was a member
of the nationally ranked Memorial High School dance team and has received
many awards in solo competitions as well as judged dance competitions.
Shelia has performed at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center in various
musical productions. She has taught
at Miss Micki's for 6 years. |

Deena Smith
Deena
Smith grew up in Tulsa and started taking tap and ballet
lessons at the age of six. She has
studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, and Hip-Hop.
Deena began choreographing early on, and working as a dance teacher
assistant during her high school years.
She graduated from Oklahoma City University with a BA in Early
Childhood Education, where she also continued to study dance. She has two
boys who also dance at Miss Micki's.
Deena has been teaching at Miss Micki's for 7 years, and she always looks
forward to seeing and teaching her wonderful students. |

Courtney Pernell
Courtney
Pernell was born in Massachusetts and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She has danced for twenty years at Miss Mickis.
She has excelled in Tap, Jazz, and Hip-Hop classes.
She has recently assisted with teaching children's classes.
Courtney's future plans include many years of dancing and teaching
at Miss Micki's school of Dance.
